FCS Fans Nation Broadcast Media Top 25, 9/26/2022

CHENEY, WA – Four new teams entered the the FCS Fans Nation Broadcast Media Top 25 in Week 4 of the 2022 FCS football season, including the first appearance by a team from the MEAC.

North Dakota State remains at No. 1 in the poll, followed by No. 2 Montana, and No. 3 South Dakota State, which is unchanged from last week.

Four teams dropped out of the Top 25 this week. Villanova fell out thanks to a stunning 49-42 loss to Monmouth (unranked), Eastern Kentucky fell to Southeast Missouri State (No. 19), North Dakota lost to Southern Illinois 34-17, and Weber State (No. 7) upended UC Davis 17-12.

The aforementioned Salukis re-enter the FCS Fans Nation Media Top 25 at No. 20. Joining them are Idaho at 21 (who beat Northern Arizona 27-10), North Carolina Central at 22 (who beat an NAIA team, Virginia-Lynchburg, 59-14), and Furman at 25 (who beat -). Furman adds a third SoCon team to the Top 25, joining Mercer (No. 10) and Chattanooga (No. 11).
